Door to Door Organics was started by my super hero (but I've always called him Dad), a family friend, and me in 1997 in
beautiful Upper Bucks County, Pennsylvania. It became a family business in 1999 and I made it a sole venture
(speaking with Dad several times a week) in 2001.
In the fall of 2004 I moved out to Colorado in pursuit of a lifestyle change, and to duplicate the business.
After settling down in Boulder operations began in a 300 square foot garage in South Boulder. The first box was
delivered in November to Bailey.
Shortly after operations began I was introduced to Mat, a native of Michigan who quickly became a partner in the business. After working together for close to two years we decided to bring Door to Door Organics straight into the Mid West.
Door to Door Organics Michigan is currently run by my mother in law Linda and cousin Kristin.
