Our Farms
We pride ourselves in ordering produce from the best organic farms we can find, and every single piece of produce we have is 100% USDA Certified Organic. When the growing season is on, we strive to bring you as much local produce as we can.

During the colder parts of the year when the leaves have fallen and the air is chilly, we are still able to bring you organic produce that comes mostly from our friends in California. We have searched high and low, but it's pretty hard to find tropical fruit like Bananas and Pineapples growing anywhere around here, so for some of our more exotic produce, we use farms out of the country that meet the same rigourous standards and are USDA Organic Certified.

Almar Orchards (Flushing, MI)

Almar Orchards is a family-oriented, fourth generation owned produce and livestock farm. With 250 sprawling acres, Almar Farms features organically grown fruits and vegetables. Jim and Karen Koan, son and daughter-in-law of Albert and Albert Koan, have spent their lives in dedication to providing the best fruits and vegetables that can be found in the mid-Michigan area. Almar Orchards is open seven days a week year-round, so give them a visit and enjoy the Petting Zoo, Hayrides, Fresh Produce Market, spiced cider and donuts in the Fall and Winter, or fruit slushes in the summer. Relax and enjoy a slice of olde-time American Farm Life.

What do they grow? Organic vegetables and fruit, including green beans, tomatoes, squash, gourds, cucumbers, sweet corn, peppers and a variety of fine Michigan apples.


Eater's Guild Farm (Bangor, MI)

Laurie and husband, Lee are the farm stewards and operators of the Eater's Guild Farm, a certified organic vegetable farm. With backgrounds in zoology and biology and a vision of re-imagining the small farm, Laurie and Lee share a pioneering organic wisdom and seek to preserve the delicate ecological balance required for outstanding organic produce. Utilizing the rich glacial soils and Lake Michigan microclimate, Eater's Guild Farm will help to support the long and balanced growth needed to sustain a high standard of organic crop quality.

What do they grow? Variety of organic vegetables, including spinach, collards, carrots, beets, kohlrabi, turnips, asparagus, and more...


Beautiful Earth Family Farm (Chelsea, MI)

Beautiful Earth is a small, family operated farm on just over 10 acres of land in Chelsea, Michigan. Adam generally manages the farm and oversees all production and operations along with Chandra, his wife. When you visit them you might see their three lovely daughters running in and out of the rows of vegetables, their smiling faces soaking up the loving energy of growing plants. Beautiful Earth Family Farm uses only natural and sustainable growing methods and takes pride in the tasty food they produce. They have a steadfast commitment to the earth and in working in harmony with nature. Beautiful Earth never uses any chemicals and always use organically approved methods for pest management and overall crop & soil health.

What do they grow? A very wide assortment of organic fruits, herbs, and vegetables, featuring many unique heirloom varieties.


Two Creeks Organics (Manchester, MI)

Amie and Mark Sanford operate Two Creeks Organics, a true family-run, Certified Naturally Grown farm offering fresh and healthy organic produce. Two Creeks uses only natural sustainable methods in growing their produce and raising their animals. Their fields have been in hay for over ten years and they use no chemicals or pesticides.

What do they grow? A wide variety of organically grown vegetables and poultry that is pasture fed with no hormones or antibiotics.
